Maus 1: My Father Bleeds History

this was a very interesting book. Artie is a Jewish man who was born right after ww2. his father lived right through ww2. Artie is trying to make to make a book so he asked his father to tell him what he went through in ww2. his dad starts off with how he met his wife and he met her while he was dating someone else. but he left her for his wife. his wife is really rich but the money didn’t save them from the Nazis. they got pulled away from their home and sent to one of the camps.

they were struggling in the camps but then he volunteered to work with the Nazis. he did that for a while but then he had to leave. they sent him to the ghetto. the gestapo took them away and took them somewhere even worst than the ghetto. they escaped and went to Poland and stayed with a very nice lady. then they got an idea to go to Hungary. if you want to know more you are going to have to read the book.
