Harry potter is an eleven year old boy who lives at number four of private drive. Harry is living with the Dursley’s who are his aunt, uncle, and cousin. He lives with the Dursly family because his parents have past away. The Dursley’s could be just about the most normal family you have heard of, well at least they think so. Harry ‘s cousin named Dudley enjoys pestering Harry to make his life miserable. While, his aunt Petunia and uncle Vernon treat Harry as if he is a servant. They make Harry sleep in a cupboard even though his cousin Dudley has two rooms. Harry takes orders from his uncle and aunt and is unable to get new things such as new clothing so, he is forced to wear his cousin’s “hand me downs.” Over all, you could say that Harry is treated horribly and has a very hard time making friends with Dudley around.
Harry doesn’t remember anything from the death of his parents as he was only a baby when they died. Although, he has a mysterious scar on his forehead in the shape of a lightning bold. He has dreamed and seen a blinding green light and woke up to his scar hurting. His uncle and aunt told him that his parents died in a car accident. Then one day they received a letter in the mail for Harry so, uncle Vernon read it and threw it in the fireplace. Harry’s uncle kept throwing the letters away, but the more he through away, the more that came until he decided to leave the house. Harry and the Dursley’s tried a couple locations to hide before they stayed at an old shack next to the ocean.
Then a giant man named Hagrid barged through the door giving Harry his letter and explaining what it said. Hagrid finally told Harry that he is a wizard and his parents died trying to fight an evil wizard named Voldemort, who left him the scar. After their conversation was over they, went to an underground market place to buy supplies for a school of whichcraft and wizardry called Hogwrts, witch Harry would be attending. When Harry arrives at Hogwarts he is already known by everybody for surviving the evil magic of Voldemort. Harry is picked to be in the Gryffindor house. He then goes on many adventures throughout Hogwarts, makes loyal friends, makes awful enemies, and undertakes the task of trying to get the prestiges award for Gryffindor called the house cup.
