It is summer time in Winston California. Summer is always the best time of all for people in Winston . July Fourth is very near by. People are happily getting ready for the Fourth of July Festival, but there is one thing that the people hope will be different from the last two years. For two years straight, Winston has had 2 victims who got murdered on the Fourth of July. There was no sign or trace of the murderer. It was impossible to find him. People are again afraid that the murder might happen again this year. Media are predicting weather this year will be the third year in a row of the event. People start to cuddle up in groups when they go outside. Parents are cautious about their children going outside alone. Everyone are trying to escape from being Winston’s next murder victim. However, there is one special person who doesn’t seem to be scare.
Somewhere in town, a girl name Clare who has been cursed with a gift that she can see people’s pasts when she touches their clothes. Coincidentally, she touches a denim jacket from a victim of the last July Fourth murder. She started to see her town coming apart. She didn’t only touches the clothes of that one victim, her love for fashion leads her to many more new discoveries of other people’s pasts through their clothes. Every piece of fabric that Clare touches is a new secret and new story that might solve the mystery. Clare’s life is definitely not easy. Even though she doesn’t want know about other people’s pasts, she has no choice. How can Clare do this? Will Clare be able to find the killer through people’s pasts? Will Winston ever be free from the murder?
