Recommended Audience: Over 15.

Have you ever read a book that has changed your life? Well, neither has Jim Gaffigan. In this book Jim Gaffigan gives his hilarious explanation of fatherhood and his life as a married man in a 2 bedroom apartment in New York with 5 kids. That’s right, you heard me, 5. Now some may think 5 kids could be a little too much for one person to handle, but your wrong, since he credits his wife for doing it all. This book will not only give you a good laugh, but will open your eyes to a different life style. If you have ever though your house was small or cramped, think again. In this book he explains how he manages to fit him, his wife, and their 5 kids in a 2 bedroom apartment.

While you read this book, be sure to try and see through his eyes as he writes it. Jim explains his events through life so far and leads into his life with kids. Weather he is comparing them to aliens, or homeless beggars, he is somehow able to tie it up and make it look good. Jim Gaffigan is a well known “family” comedian. Which means you can take your kids to see his shows and everyone will have a good laugh. He is more known for his love/hate relationship with Hot Pockets. This novel is for all ages, but to understand it fully I recommend it to people over 15. In closing I would recommend this book to everyone, it allowed me to see life from a perspective I have never even heard of.
