In this novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is about a 15 year old boy who has a autistic condition, he lives with his dad since his mother had passed away 2 years ago. He discovered a dead body in Willington and a dog that got speared and then the neighbor called the police and Christopher the main character was under suspicion. The cops was trying to talk to him but he went berserk and attacked the policeman, he was arrested and later was released with caution. When Christopher got released he decided to go investigate more about the dead dog. Christopher would go on his little adventure and he would always record his history in his little journal book that he keeps around with him. During his little adventure he meets a lot of new faces, people who he never even encounter with on the same street. Later on his dad Ed found out about his journal and he confronts Christopher about it, they had a huge argument about it, and later when his dad left Christopher discovered a bunch of letters from his dead mother who wrote to him before she died. Christopher became emotional and all he did was stayed in his room and vomit. When Ed came home he found out that Christopher had read the letters and he confesses about his mothers death to Christopher and on top of that he told him that he was the one who killed the neighbor, over a heated argument. As soon as Christopher found out about what his father Ed had done he was scared for his life and is afraid that he might kill him. At the end of the story Christopher found out that his mom wasn’t actually dead and that his mom was upset at Ed for telling Christopher that she was dead. Christopher is still terrified from his father because of the incident but slowly regains his trust after Ed buys him a pet dog. Christopher wants to go to school and he received a level in his math class. His dream is to become a astronaut, but his big goal is to become a scientist. At the end of the story Christopher had finally met his mother, solved the mystery of the dead dog, gone to London, received a A in his class, and he wrote a book about his adventures. He now lives with his mother and visits his father occasionally.
